Google's spam filters watch how reviews are collected. Reviews that look prompted or incentivised often stay visible on your profile but stop counting as ranking signals — and repeated patterns can suppress your whole listing. Every template Avila generates follows these rules:
❌ Don't script staff names. Never ask guests to "mention Emma" in their review, or run naming contests / employee review leaderboards. Google filters name-prompted reviews.
❌ Don't incentivise. No discounts, freebies, vouchers or prize draws in exchange for a review — that's a direct policy violation.
❌ Don't gate. Ask every guest, not just the happy ones. Sending the link only to satisfied diners ("review gating") is detectable and penalised.
✅ Do keep it neutral. A warm, personal ask with a direct link. If guests praise staff by name on their own, that's organic — and perfectly safe.
